Edmonton oilers have created a great picture about hockey and indulged the passion in young minds about the game. The ultimate result of this interest led to the beginning of minor hockey in Edmonton which is supported by minor hockey association. According to the association improving the skills of hocking playing in children and youth will dramatically change the future of Edmonton minor hockey as well as in the whole of Canaan.  The club has framed various rules and created divisions for a good structured game play , for example the various age groups  are Novice, Atom, peewee, bantam, midget, junior A, junior B. Every year the club conducts numerous tournaments for all the age groups listed formerly in the article. The club provides encouraging awards and scholarships for the best playing tem of the tournament. It works very similar to the world hockey associations organizing workshops; referee clinics, referee comities and much more.
